All,

If you are entering the Flitwick Eagles Girls Tournament, it’s a fantastic way end the season. We have teams travelling from a number of different counties and leagues, let’s hope that the weather and traffic will be kind to us and that you all come back again year on year. The email with the tournament pack will hopefully confirm all the details you need. However, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email us at tournaments@flitwickeagles.org.

A range of food, drink and other refreshments are all available at the event, we have something for everyone, with outside seating for the Bar and Café.

Please pass on the following additional important information:

  • Parking: Please see additional section below. There are 3 different parking locations depending on what time you arrive, however, Blue Badge parking is only available at the football centre.

  • There is a £3 admission fee per adult. Exact change on the day will speed up entry for everyone, alternatively there is a card machine which is slightly slower.

  • No glass or bottles (or bringing alcohol to consume) are permitted on site and drinking alcohol pitch side is NOT permitted either. Alcohol can only be consumed at the Pavilion.

  • Smoking is permitted in designated areas only and NOT pitch side.

  • STRICTLY NO DOGS (except assistance dogs) are permitted on site. This is an FA rule.

  • Flitwick Eagles FC supports the FA Respect Code Conduct. Any player, official or supporter that does not abide by the FA Respect guidelines, will be asked to immediately leave the tournament and the facility.

  • First aid and toilet facilities are provided in the pavilion building.

  • Changing rooms are not available.

  • There will be a full range of food and hot and cold drinks (and Ice Cream) available to purchase over the weekend.

  • An ‘Action Photographer’ should be in attendance at the tournament. If any player does not want to be photographed, please make this known to us at registration time.

  • ** We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or injury sustained whilst on site.

  • We need to vacate the car park at Redborne Upper School @ 18:30 as the gates lock automatically! Please leave promptly after the tournament.

9-a-side Plate competitions Artificial Grass Pitch (AGP)

The U12 & U13 competitions are separated into Cup and Plate each day. The Cup Competitions will be 9-a-side on the AGP and the Plate Competitions on grass; both formed of groups of 6 teams, playing a 'round robin' format, with trophies for the winner and runner up only.

Please take note the teams entering the U12 & U13 Cup competitions will be playing all matches on the Artificial Grass Pitch; and there is a strict ‘Acceptable Footwear Policy‘ in place (see policy below). Please ensure you read ‘Flitwick Eagles Tournament AGP Footwear Policy’ and that the players and coaching staff are fully aware of this policy.

The Tournament is Online (at least will be a few days before the start)

Full details of our tournament will be online at the FA Fulltime website once we have built the league tables with the final entrants. The link to the tournament at the Fulltime website online will be shared a few days before the tournament. Here you can also track your teams progress online. Team Registration and Rules

Team Registration will take place in the pavilion building. Please complete the Team Registration Form in advance if possible, to save time and queuing on the day. A copy of the tournament rules is attached in the tournament pack, however copies are also available on the day.

Tournament Venue

The tournament venue is: The Flitwick Community Football Centre, Ampthill Road, Flitwick, MK45 1BA (opposite the Shell Garage on the A507 roundabout by Redborne College).

Tournament Parking

Parking for the AM Session is in 3 locations. Depending on which direction you arrive from, you will be directed to one of these 3:

  1. The Flitwick Community Football Centre, Ampthill Road, Flitwick, MK45 1BA

  2. Redborne Upper School MK45 2NU (South entrance)

  3. Doolittle Yard, MK45 2NW

NOTE : There is  a separate area for Blue Badge holders at the Football Centre.

Please ask all of your players/parents/supporters to follow the signs and the instructions of the Flitwick Eagles Parking Marshals on the day.

For the PM Session there will little or NO parking or dropping off at the Football Centre (except for disabled badge holders) as it will be FULL of the morning session cars.  Please instruct players / parents to go straight to Redborne Upper School (South Entrance) unless otherwise instructed or advised by the Flitwick Eagles Parking Marshals.

** See ‘Address-Direction-Parking-Information’ link below for maps and instructions.

NOTE : Redborne Upper School parking is a 5-to-10-minute walk away (players can be dropped off in the Drop Off Zone which is closer and walk across the footbridge to the Football Centre). Doolittle Yard is approx. a 5-to-10-minute walk away.

Please advise drivers that they need to allow about 15 additional minutes to their journey time for parking up to give players enough time to walk across to the Football Centre, to be ready for their first match. It gets very busy all around Redborne Upper School for about an hour before kick-off times. Please also advise drivers to take extra care when parking, as there are lots of young children attending!

We ask parents / supporters to not to park in the streets adjacent to the Football Centre please, as this will cause congestion, delays, safety concerns and will inconvenience the nearby residents who will complain to the football centre staff and management which is not fair on them.

All attendees & supporters to only use the tournament parking shown above as directed by the Parking Marshalls on the day. Thank you.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 18th May. If you have any queries in advance of the tournament or problems on the day, please email tournaments@flitwickeagles.org and we will endeavour to help you.
